Gavin was born at ST Mary's Paddington Hospital (Harrow Road) a very quiet baby. At birth he weighed 6lb. 14 Oz's and was the only boy born on the ward that day. I can remember one of the black nurses asking me jokinly if he was mine, because he looked so white; Gavin was such a quiet baby that I would have to wake him so I could play with him, he changed after 6 months,and began crying when left with family or friends. At age 2 his personality changed he became an adventious little boy; who's language skills were that of a five year old. at 2 he wanted to go school with his older brother Paul, and when he did go at age three he cried because he thought he would be in the same class as his brother Paul, the head teacher allow Paul to spend three days in the Nursery with Gavin before he settle.
